 November KNB Monthly meeting

These notes are not approved by the board as formal minutes, only a recollection and memory holder.

There are still three vacancies on the board:  Sub-districts 2, 12 & 13.  The locations are Windward Mall/Crown Terrace area, Mokulele makai covers the area from the Pohai Nani to Bayview golf course, and 13 is along Kaneohe Bay Drive to the H3 on Mokapu saddle Road.  Please chat with friends you know who live in those areas to see if they'd like to represent their areas.  You can refer them to me for additional questions.  moradke@gmail.com

The briefing by Planning Solutions regarding the Pu'u Ali'i slope stabilization project was postponed until January 2023 meeting.

David Uchiyama gave a riveting presentation on RegentCraft, a new option of inter-island transportation. The idea was a "green" transportation system that comports with native Hawaiian, FAA, FCC, rules, laws, regulations, customs and traditions.  So far, it looks like a well-thought plant and we're looking forward to future updates.

Elected Officials gave their reports -  Work closely sooner, rather than later, for possible legislation you'd like your elected officials to consider.

We are still looking for a physical meeting place and thought WCC was able to support but it looks as if the price was too steep $200-300 for the NCO to fund.

Our December meeting will be a pot-luck if we can find a meeting place, otherwise we'll nit meet in December.

If you know of someone who has been doing good things in the community and you feel they should be recognized, please send me a paragraph of who it is and what they've done. moradke@gmail.com

Vice chair Lam gave a reports of attending the Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization meeting and started monthly Planning committee meetings.  The planning committee meetings will take place monthly at Kaneohe District Park on Wednesday's at 12pm in classroom #2.

Feel free to amend or add to -

Aloha - Mo Radke, Chair
