Helping those in need in Kaneohe

Our Kahuhipa is one part of a bigger non-profit, Ma Ke Alo o, that is doing good things for our community. Many businesses and organizations from Kailua and Kaneohe are partnering with them to help with their quarterly outreach event, "Lotta Love". It provides the community with lightly loved clothing, free bentos and laundry kits (quarters and detergent). Also their "Got Yo' Back! (Packs)" donation event provided 500 keikis with school supplies! Most recently they reached out to the kupuna at The Plaza by delivering handwritten notes and flowers.  

Not only serving, keiki, kupuna and the houseless community, relationships are being built between the volunteers, those being served and neighbor to neighbor.
